Royal Troon

Although the Club had hosted Amateur Championships before the First World War, it was not until 1923 that The Open Championship was first held at Troon.

Having now hosted 9 Open Championships, the 145th was perhaps one of the most thrilling and will be forever remembered for the 'duel in the wind' between Phil Mickelson and Henrik Stenson, both of whom used The Green Book during the Championship. Souvenir Green Books from the Open Championship can now be purchased here.
